It is a top - level design put forward by China from the perspective of the overall development of the times and comprehensive consideration of the overall interests of the people of the world. It is also a practical need to scientifically respond to the changes in the world, the times, and history.

In the contemporary context of globalization and regional cultural diversity, accurately understanding and interpreting the historical and cultural image of Xinjiang has become an important research topic. This study adopts a historical bibliography perspective, with the Qing Dynasty Chronicles of Xinjiang Governing as the core text, employing text analysis and comparative research methods to explore the historical construction and transformation of the image of Xinjiang. The study finds that the image of Xinjiang in the Qing official gazetteers demonstrates distinct political integration characteristics, with its narrative framework significantly differing from contemporary multicultural cognitive models. Through a multi-dimensional analysis of historical evolution, folklore, geography, and other aspects, the study reveals the mechanisms of power discourse and shifts in cultural cognitive paradigms in the construction of Xinjiang’s image. The research indicates that the diachronic changes in regional images not only reflect the evolution of the socio-political context but also embody profound transformations in cultural cognitive patterns. This study provides a new academic perspective on the historical and cultural research of Xinjiang and offers significant theoretical value for contemporary frontier cultural governance.

This study examines the reception of contemporary Chinese novels in Spain, focusing on translations published between 1990 and 2024. By combining quantitativedata with textual analysis, the research explores how contemporary Chinese literature has been received by Spanish media. Based on book review data and publication records from Spain’s mainstream media, the study reveals the phased characteristics of the dissemination of Chinese literature, its reception effectiveness, and the influencing factors. The findings provide empirical insights for the international promotion of Chinese literature.

This study compares and analyses Chinese mainstream media and European and American mainstream media reports on China's foreign poverty alleviation events through the lens of critical discourse analysis theory and adopts a corpus-based research method. With the help of the LexisNexis database, this study constructs a special corpus, collects and analyses a large number of news reports, and reveals the political stance and the construction of China's national image in different media reports. Chinese mainstream media constructed a win-win, open and sharing national image that focuses on people's livelihood and human rights; European and American mainstream media affirmed that China is a contributor to global development, but also partially distorted the image of a China that attempts to dominate and is not conducive to world economic peace.

Claude Monet’s later works, particularly his Water Lilies series, underwent significant stylistic changes as his vision deteriorated due to cataracts. This article explores the impact of eye diseases on artists, focusing on how visual impairments influence artistic perception, techniques, and conceptual approaches. As Monet’s eyesight declined, his colour perception shifted, and his brushstrokes became broader and more expressive, contributing to a more abstract style. While vision loss posed considerable emotional and practical challenges, it also led to artistic innovation, pushing these painters toward new modes of expression. The study highlights how Monet’s boundaryless composition and emphasis on atmosphere rather than fine detail played a crucial role in the emergence of abstract art. These findings suggest that artistic resilience in the face of adversity can drive the evolution of artistic styles. Further research could explore how contemporary technologies assist visually impaired artists in maintaining their practice and whether such adaptations contribute to novel artistic developments.

The revolutionary development of virtual reality technology is reshaping the narrative mode of games, and its main change is reflected in the transformation of non-player characters from stylized existences to context-aware narrative subjects. By analyzing three VR games at different technical stages, this study reveals how NPCs evolve from mechanically responsive script characters to context-aware narrative actors. We combined in-depth player interviews and behavioral data analysis to demonstrate that dynamic interactions significantly enhance story immersion and decision-making autonomy. An NPC system with real-time feedback not only extends the player’s emotional engagement, but also gives them substantial impact on the direction of the story.

Subculture, as a kind of cultural form formed outside the mainstream culture, is shaped by specific groups based on common interests, values and lifestyles. The popularity of the Internet and social media has not only accelerated the collection and dissemination of subculture groups but also reshaped the symbiotic mode between subculture and music genres—from the closed communication of underground scenes to the global and instant digital interaction. This transformation not only provides subculture music with unprecedented creative freedom and communication efficiency, but also makes it face the dual challenges of commercial incorporation and cultural dilution. This paper aims to reveal the changes of the symbiotic relationship between subculture and music genre in the digital age, and focuses on three core questions: How do subculture and music genre interact? How does digital technology affect the production and dissemination path of subculture music? What is the impact of commercial intervention on the symbiosis mode of the two? The study attempts to provide new ideas for understanding the development path of subculture through an interdisciplinary perspective, and at the same time, it proposes practical enlightenment for balancing the commercial logic of the music industry with the spiritual value of subculture, so as to help the sustainable development of multicultural ecology in the information age.

This study explores the interaction mechanism between language training and cultural transmission in Chinese second language teaching in the context of globalization. This paper analyzes the phenomenon of classroom cultural conflicts from an intercultural perspective, and proposes the teaching strategy to equip the teaching of language knowledge and the cultivation of cultural cognition. Based on the quantitative data of more than 300 learners and the qualitative materials of classroom observation and teacher interviews, the study revealed a significant positive correlation between cultural aptitude and language achievement (r = 0.48). Classes with a culturally responsive approach saw a 27% increase in student engagement and a 34% decrease in cultural misreading. For example, after integrating calligraphy experience into Chinese character teaching, students' font memory accuracy increased by 19%. The research results provide an empirical basis for Chinese international educational institutions, and suggest adding intercultural teaching design modules into teacher training and developing a three-dimensional curriculum system including cultural scenario simulation.

Reception aesthetics posits that audiences are not passive recipients of information but active participants in the interpretation and creation of films. From the perspective of reception aesthetics, the interactive relationship between audiences and films can be explored more comprehensively. This approach enables an analysis of how films derive vitality and meaning through audience interaction, reveals the socio-cultural connotations and aesthetic value of cinematic art, and examines the variations in audience reception across different social, historical, and cultural contexts. Ultimately, by drawing on the theories and methodologies of reception aesthetics, new narrative techniques and expressive methods in filmmaking can be explored, fostering continuous innovation and development in film art to meet the growing spiritual and cultural needs of audiences. "Big Fish" blends reality and fantasy, incorporating a wealth of emotional elements into its surreal and imaginative cinematic style. This allows audiences to navigate between fantasy and reality, experiencing profound emotional resonance. From the perspective of reception aesthetics, Big Fish successfully triggers aesthetic expectations and facilitates aesthetic communication between the audience and the film through its diverse expressive techniques and unique artistic style, thereby contributing to a rich and varied cinematic art.

This thesis primarily discusses buildings as they exist within collective memories rather than as physical structures grounded in historical facts. From 1958 to 1960, amidst nationwide debates on "What is communist architecture and lifestyle?", the Fusuijing Building, designed by Changru Zhang, was constructed in the northwest corner of Beijing, China. Today, it is also referred to as the "Communist Mansion", a designation that partially obscures its multifaceted history. This research attempts to switch the microphone of the mainstream narrative embedded on the spatial and political scale to the local memories and social voices that are often overlooked. Starting from the perspective of the original residents of the Fusuijing Building, it employs collective memory as a methodological framework. Based on the original design archives of the Fusuijing Building, it translates the collective memories of the original residents into architectural language and conducts imaginative speculative architectural drawings. This process reconstructs a "disappeared" yet enduring social vision within the Fusuijing Building, reimagining it through the lens of collective memory. My research will provide a bottom-up vision for the investigation and renovation of historical buildings in Chinese cities.
